FraudTool.Win32.Agent.AC, discover how to avoid its trap...


TG Soft's research center have discovered a brand new FraudTool, it has been named FraudTool.Win32.Agent.AC, discover how to protect your credit cards codes!

TG Soft's research center have discovered the new FraudTool.Win32.Agent.AC that have already started to claim some victims.

You can get some technical details about it you can read them on malware watch.

FraudTools are fake AntiVirus with a really pleasing User Interface that, during normal navigation, report the presence of fake, non-existant, viruses on user's pc, and asks to buy the whole software to clean the PC.

It's logic that buying these FALSE antiviruses it's extremely dangerous because you're going to give them your credit card data on website with no reputation, so the risk of getting your credit card data stolen is very high.

If this is not enough, these softwares can update themselves to avoid being caught from the antivirus and to continue their spreading, infecting new unaware users and raising their possibilities of getting money from them. If users pay the software they will encounter a double risk:

  1. Pay the software for nothing  (it doesn't really do what it says);
  2. Getting credit card codes stolen.
